Team BowDoc JOAD can teach your young aspiring archers range safety and proper shooting form and technique for both recurve and compound shooters. This program not only focuses on Archery but also on building great life skills and attributes like Respect, Self Confidence, and Team Work. This program is great for both building recreational shooting skills as well as developing high level competition skills.
All team members will be eligible to participate in local, state, regional, and national events. USA Archery Pins and achievement awards are given out as a team member progresses. (See scoring matrix files below).
Team BowDoc JOAD Training sessions are held on Tuesdays at 4:45 until 6:45 at the BowDoc Archery Shop/Range in Mokena, IL. All team members are allowed to practice on Thursdays for free between 4-6pm. For kids that are new to archery, having your own equipment is not necessary.
